The Call of Arapiles/Djurite

The Call of Arapiles/Djurite, is a video installation reimagining the 1864 story of Jane Duff and her brothers who were lost in the bush and found by First Nations trackers, as a mythopoetic meditation on place, memory, and cultural continuity.

The project was awarded development support through the ACT Natimuk Creative Lab and has been accepted for exhibition at the 2025 Nati Frinj Festival in its early, pre-visualised form.
